how to clean and remove scratches from the plastic control panel cover? the scratches interfere with glare in the sun.
 
Is this the clear plastic for your instrument panel??

There are quite a few plastic cleaners and polishes....I prefer Novus for this, the #2 and #1 will take off light scratches and polish it out....its also great on head lights and the likes of that.

Meguirs has one called PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish, I have used it before and its pretty good, plus you can pick it up locally.

It's also a one step where as Novus is multiple steps. The PlastX is very good and and can remove some serious scratches. It's an abrasive so it needs to be worked well not just applied and wiped off.
