Cyclo polisher pads Hey Bill D/Accum!

Accumulator-Agreed. A Cyclo is a step up in aggressiveness but still pretty much PC safe...and you are right, I really don't have much time for practicing with a rotary. It has been 25 years since I used one in a body shop class in high school. I am seriously out of practice.

I have been sent new orange power pads directly from Cyclo Tools, new yellow cutting pads, also with a new velcro material, and 2 new carpet brushes for the Cyclo.

The UPS man got to my house just as I was getting home, he dropped off 2 boxes for me filled with new goodies:bounce

I am detailing a car or two tomorrow and will be trying out the new orange pads PLUS a car polish that promises to be one the best polishes ever developed. I eagerly await tomorrow........now if it will just not rain!

I also will be testing a new tire dressing and window polish, for hard water spots.

I used Poorboys new wheel cleaner today and also Steve's new car soap. Both wonderful products. The wheel cleaner is a spray on hose off product that worked very well. More on that tomorrow also.

I can't really comment on whats in the works for Cyclo until I get confirmation from the folks at Cyclo, but I am really excited about that:D

Sorry to hijack the thread,

Anthony

Anthony- IMO you're not 'jacking the thread :D Keep us informed

Bill D- if the LC pads are an S8 then what about the Sonus ones ;)

ScottWax- Yeah, I went twenty-some years without touching a rotary, and you *do* get out of practice!

Gotta catch a plane....

Are these made for Cyclo by Lake Country? I thought the orange power pad was a LC thing.

As an aside, Anthony, have you ever used the Cyclo-branded polishes and sealants? Most seem like they are geared towards aircraft, but some mention cars and clear-coats specifically. Thanks!

Yeah, that sure does sound like LC pads to me. Does Cyclo really make its own pads? If it doesn't and LC doesn't subcontract, maybe Buff n Shine or SM Arnold does?

 You must be able to run really, really fast!

Heh heh, LOL :D

Bill D- As best I can tell Cyclo really does manufacture their own pads, though I don't know where they get the foam and I dunno about the new ones. When Irene from TOL talked with them about the velcro slubs on their "origninal pads", they said they'd alter things to help with it.
