cutting and polishing process???

Should i just give the pad a spray or two?

A light mist is all it takes. Either on the pad or directly to the working area, which is what I do when working with my PC. Too much water and it will start to sling.

205 on an orange pad will be a good starting point. I have had great results with that on soft paint, but it will still probably need a follow up with a softer pad for a good finish. (I followed up with Menz 85rd on a black car and it came out fantastic.) If that is close, but not quite enough, I would try 105 with white pad. But if it is not even close to enough, then it will take 105 on orange. Go slow at first with this (light-med pressure and short work time and check often) until you get a feel for how it's working. No need to take off more clear than necessary.
