Customers bringing in 2 sets of floor mats

Lately I`ve had a lot of customers bringing in 2 sets of floor mats for their details. I find it frustrating because when I quote I don`t account for it and would rather not have to be bringing it up ahead of time or talking about extra charges for it as it comes across kind of stingy.

Anyhow.. how do you guys handle customers who think a detail is a bonus opportunity to get their extra set of floor mats cleaned?

Of you do a written quote include a line that says a second set of mats will incur an additional charge for labor and materials.

That :D Too bad you have to think about protecting yourself from people taking advantage, but I guess you do.

Whenever giving written quote it should itemize what’s cover so you don’t end up doing free work and customers don’t get but hurt when you point out it only covers one set.

Compare it to getting a quote to get your carpets cleaned and then surprising them with an extra room. You would have to pay for that.

And as to what mike said have two sets on your itemized portion and then give a discount if they only have one
