Does anybody offer this for late model cars? Here's my problem. I've got 3 cars and 2 are only driven on weekends, yet I'm paying full insurance on them like they're daily driven. My Mustang has only been driven 4 times this whole year. It only has 18k on it so it's value is much more than an average one, yet if it's totalled, you know the ins. company will try and screw me by giving me wholesale. I've tried those companies that advertise saying "no model year limitations" yet they said it was too new?!?!

there are many different "collector" type insurance companys

Check out American Collectors I know thats the company my father has his car through!

I know most companies offer GAP insurance. Basically, if your car is totalled/stolen instead of getting trade-in/private sale value you get retail.

For classic vehicles you have to get it appraised, which is probably why they are telling you it's too new...I think....

Assuming they are not collectors and that they are worth their book value to you, call your agent and have them rate your cars according to how much you drive it. Most major insurers can and will do it unless your state does not allow it. They could rate you at 90% in your daily driver then 5% in each of the others and you'll see the rate drop like a rock since insurance is partially rated by average mileage.
