Curb rash repair...on an aluminum lip?

Hey guys - so I know how to do rash repair on alloys, and have done it a number of times with success, but this one is a bit of a conundrum. The wheels I am trying to repair have a coated aluminum lip, so I can't just add 3m super red and paint with wurth. The rash is not bad, but it *is* into the aluminum - so what are the options? Sand down and polish the entire lip? Refinish?

Thanks.

Picus, seeing as how you're in th GTA, you could try calling Precision Rim Repair and talk to them; they are very helpful. Even if it comes down to refinishing, they charge about 50-80 to refinish an entire rim. In this case it might be less as its only a small portion of the rim.
