newbiebimmer said:Too funny I was just searching all over the web tonight as i just hit the back right rim on a curb making a right turn too early. Just rashed hard my polished lip on 22" rims.
I know have 2 of the rims with rashes, and my bmw with painted rims with 2 as well.
Long story short I found online after about 2 hours reading posts a guy named Son Tran do a google search for "son tran curb rash" or rim repair. Anyway he's mobile and I hear he's reasonable and really good. $40-$100 a rim depending on the damage.

some of the before and after pics I found were downright amazing. It ruined my night, but now I'm going to sleep better knowing it can be repaired. I figured both cars 4 rims I'm gonna be out $250? we'll see.

At first I was very skeptical when I went by the shop but apparently they have someone who comes in to do the work (wouldn't tell me who but I suspect it's Son Tran as MB Santa Monica is 3 blocks away, and he was at MB later that morning to do some work)
Very good job, $125 per wheel.
