CSL over dealer applied Racing Stripes?

My father in law just bought a new Mini countryman and is having the dealer install the racing stripes to the hood next week. I was talking with him and he asked me if I could do a new car prep and coating for him. He had the $1500 dealer coating on his last car. I was thinking of ordering CSL but wanted to make sure that that can be applied over the stripes that are being put on the car? Is there a better coating out there that I should look at? The reviews for CSL seem quite good. I was thinking of a foam wash, Iron-X, Clay, (light polishing if needed), Eraser then coat with CSL.

So Can CSL be safely applied over the top of vinyl stripes with out issue?
 
His car is blue with a white roof so I`m thinking he`s going to get the white gloss stripes for the hood. Does it matter if its gloss or not? Also can csl be put on the trim as well?
 
Well I ordered the CSL with the 25% off from the store last night, also got a few goodies for myself. I emailed Gtechniq with the question and they said that it can be put over the stripes but to be careful with how it flashes, that it may flash quicker then what`s on the paint and to wipe off right away to avoid streaking or high spots. Hopefully everything goes well and I don`t have issues.
 
It can be used but GT has said C1 is better/safer option....less chance of messing things up. ;)
