I'm working on an 08' RAV-4 right now, the carpets are pretty much what one would expect to find in the trunk of most vehicles....
I think BMW has (or at least had, I haven't done a newer one in a while) some of the best carpets, super easy to clean and they release ground in dirt with relative ease.

The newer Chevy trucks have good quality carpeting in them.
Tahoe, Suburban, etc.

Carpet quality isn't as much a concern to me as the quality, fit and quietness of the cabin. My Ford Fusion has good carpet. Lint and dust sweep up clean with my MetroVac.
Since I use floor mats, the carpet in my cars looks new even after 10 years.
I think Honda provides the best carpet.

Oh man, that dang 1988 Geo Tracker carpet was the PITS!!!
I think it was made of a roll of Velcro? gone awry.
Almost impossible to get grass out of that stuff.
Would have been better off just spray painting it.

The 03 E500 Sport that I finished today had PITA trunk carpet. There was so much crap woven into the carpet, I had to hand pick most of it out.
I don't mean to thread jack but what are good tools to have for carpets that really suck??

Wet towels, lint roller, pressure washer, stiff brushes, pet hair lifter (Petco) and most of all, patience :toetap05:
