Craftsman over Shop-Vac

Just bought a new craftsman vac because my shop-vac broke on me after just 1 month. The craftsman vac seems almost twice as powerful and is the same specifications ( 3hp 6 gal). The only thing that is different is that it doesn' come with many accesories, it was also 10 $ cheaper and has 2 year replacement warrenty.. Just some info for anyone looking to buy a new vacuum. I'm excited :punk:

I have about a 15 year old Craftsman Wet/Dry vac and it's the best. I don't have the specs on it, but it is heavy, bulky and loud. For those reasons I am thinking about picking up a new one. No complaints at all with mine!

I have a 2HP Craftsmen's and have had it for 7 years or so...I've never had a single problem with it...I got all kinds of attachments for me at Orchard Supply...I got a regular vac handle, cervical and brush attachments for the end...This thing that has a handle on it, and then a 6 foot extension hose...that I would recommend so that you can leave it on one side of the car and ddo both at the same time

I have a 10 year old 4 hp Craftsman. It still works fine although I think it's lost some suction. Probably a filter change would help that. I don't think I've changed the filter in a couple years.

I'm not positive, but I think the Craftsman and the Ridgid Wet/Dry vacs are made by Emerson and all three comoanies have very sumilar units. Probably very similar quality, but that isn't necessarily so.

Change that filter I did on mine and it made a world of difference....I clean mine up about ewvery month depending on the useage...That keeps mine running like a top

I just picked up a Shop-Vac, 4.5hp/10gal. Was cheaper than the local 4hp Craftsman and same as the 3.5hp Ridgid. I need different accesories, but I'm pleased with it. Time will tell, but it is quiet compared with the Simoniz unit I was using.

Yep.
I can't imagine going more than a couple of months without changing the filter and I just take care of my own vehicles.
