counterweight question

I just bought the PC 7336sp with the 6" counterweight. I heard about vibration issues if the counter weight is not matched up with the correct pad size.



I plan on getting the sonus das kit with the 5" flexible backing plate and the 7" pads, should I keep the 6" counterweight or should I purchase the 5" countweight? I want the least amount of vibration as possible

You should be fine the way it is. At least I never encountered a problem or excessive vibration with my 7336SP with any pad size I used (4" to 7" pads and corresponding backing plates).

Just keep the 6" weight. Some people (including myself) actually prefer to use the 6" weight with a 5" backing plate and a smaller 6" pad. IMHO this combo gives the least vibration of the commonly used weight/pad/backing plate combos.
