Could you eat this burger?

Another board I go to had a meet at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub in PA and one of them ordered the 6 lb burger (free if you can finish it in 3 hours-only one person ever has). I knew the burgers were huge, but when you see the burger held by a person, you really get a sense of how massive it is!

:shocked Never seen anything like that, well not in the UK anyway.

What is the cost of those things ?

They exist Nick. Before I moved to the US I discovered a steak house in Leicestershire that offered steaks up to 128oz. If you ate all the steak you ate for free! I forget the name of the place now.

Reminds me of my youth, searching for the hottest curry to eat after drinking a few beers with friends! Dang, I was silly then :lol

Two whole tomatoes

A half-head of lettuce

12 slices of American cheese

A full cup of peppers

Two entire onions

A river of mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard

Just for clarification... the burger is 11 pounds total. 6 pounds of meat, and 5 pounds of fixings :woot2:

Looks good but a 1/3-1/2 lb. burger at Fuddruckers is enough for me.

No kidding. I'm a big guy, but the 1/3 lb from Fuddruckers is enough for me.

Is the Fuddruckers on Hilton Head still old school? Or did the franchise owner finally update?

His counterpart there looks like she is trying to knock down a 3 pounder. It looks to be smaller anyway.

Just a little 'ol 2 pounder!

I had a 1/2 pound mushroom cheeseburger and fries the other night and 3 hours later, I was still stuffed.

I remember that place. I think I saw an article where the person that finished it was a young female. I don't thinkk she ate for 2 days prior lol.

Wonder what possesses people to do things like eating that  Maybe I'm just no fun but IMO they both oughta get psychiatric help.

Old school how? It looks like every other Fuddruckers I have been in, which I admit has been just a few (Arizona and South Carolina). :)

Seven or eight years ago, Fudd's expanded their menu quite a bit. Added up to 1lb burgers, grilled chicken, fancy salads, etc. Used to be they pretty much just sold hamburgers and giant hotdogs. They also kinda remodeled their restaurants. Last time I was at Hilton Head, maybe December 2000 (?), the Fudd's there still had the original menu. We asked the guy at the counter why they hadn't changed, and he said that the franchise owner rarely comes around and just collects the checks each month. Didn't bother me because all I need is the burger!

Current menu - http://www.fuddruckers.com/menu.html

Heh, that reminds me.. when I lived in Atlanta, there was a Home Depot with a Fuddrucker's in it. Pretty cool - pick up some nails and a giant burger all in one stop :) Haven't had a Fuddrucker's burger in several years, now I'm craving one!!
