Could this be a phish? :D

I know they recently caught one guy who had a setup of 10 pc's that all day long sent out spam...they said he was responsible for about 40 percent.

I have not noticed any great reduction in my spam.

If you aren't interested in the item, (#320164281586; GEO TRAX SET--117 PIECES-- IN GOOD CONDITION--), maybe you could forward the information to me.
It sounds like a really good deal!

By the way, what is a GEO TRAX SET, anyway?

Charles

It's a train set for my son. You have to by them kit by kit, so when someone is willing to sell out their kid's entire collection, then you have to jump on it. I'm not paying more than 200 shipped, so I'm scoping out the sets that have the parts I want and just bidding my time till I can snipe it and get it for a good deal.

My question is where did the scammer get my email address? I didn't think it was listed in my ebay profile, but if it is then I think this is something that lies squarely on the shoulders of ebay to prevent. They shouldn't be allowing people such easy access to my personal information like this. The email didn't come through the ebay system, so they would have had to know what it was in order to contact me regarding an item I actually bid on.
