IS this vaccum any good? friend gave it to me just now and I was wondering what it costs and any other info.

If it's the same one my wife gave me a couple of years ago, it's junk. The one I had plugged into the cigarette lighter & had very little suction.



The Shark is great. I got mine at Linens & Things for around $20.
 
I got a EuroPro bagless stick Shark as a father's day gift. I was sceptical about it, but I tried it on the interior of the Jeep after taking the dogs for a ride while doing errands.



I coold not believe the power that little sucker has! I used the small hose and nozzle attachment, and it took all of the dog hair off the rear seats!



The only down side is that the motor generates a lot of heat...be careful when using it!
