Corvette got the treatment

Today I did my son's corvette. He had it all cleaned up and clayed it about a week ago. Since it is kept in the garage and only driven on nice days, it was ready to polish when I got there.

I used the PC and Sonus white pad with AIO starting from front to back including the windows. When I got to the rear deck and fenders I wanted to see what Menzerna FPII would do in comparison to AIO. It seemed like it had more depth and reflection. FPII is so easy to use I really like it. I went over the area I used FPII on with AIO so the whole car would have the same base to apply 4* UPP to. I applied UPP with the blue MF foam pad by hand and buffed it off after about an hour with my MF towels. The car was in such good shape to start with I wasn't sure I could make a difference, but the results proved differently. It really looked nice and my son was very pleased with it. In his eyes it was a great improvement. I did the windshield with FPII and then went over it with AIO. I did not use the UPP on the windshield.

While we waited for the UPP to cure I went over the silver Marauder I did last week with Adam's Detailer. The UPP had kept the car pretty clean so it wasn't too dirty. It dressed up very nicely.

Wow you did your sons car! Thats real nice of you...my dad never cleans my car! He doesn't even help me clean it. He just has me detail his car all the time...Looks good btw The vette is one of the few cars that looks very nice in yellow.

That's about a $20K paint job and not all surfaces are accessible to a PC. What suggestions are there for a finish on this one?

Just wondering why are you using AIO when UPC is available ? Isn't that a paint cleaner that would match to the to the UPP product line ?

Because I had AIO and because the forum traffic seems to suggest it is a match made in heaven. :) I think I ordered some UPC (too lazy to look up my order). If I did, I will be trying it for sure.
