Coolant in carptet

The heater core in my 69 bmw 2002 sprung a leak and got coolant on my carpet. I have removed the carpet and am getting ready to clean it and I was looking for recommendations. There isn't much visual staining, but you can smell the coolant and the carpet is kind of sticky. Thanks for any recommendations.

Try using a steam cleaner...and use their carpet cleaner first....



see how that does...
