Cool nozzle at Target

Went shopping tonight and checked out Targets car care section.

Saw this fireman hose with an on/off switch. The switch is plastic so I will be interested to see how long it lasts. But the card states "Lifetime" warranty.

This is cool because the thing that annoyed me about the firehose setup was having to turn to the right setting each time I want to rinse. In fact I was looking for new hose end when I found this one. Not a bad local pick up for $7

Not a bad find at all. You might want to read that lifetime warranty. I'm willing to bet it's only for manufacturers defects. Either way, if you don't toss it around, I'm sure you'll get your money out of it.

Yeah. I think it will be a great nozzle. It's on par with the one I purchased a year ago from WalMart.

However I have noticed that the metal threads get somewhat corrosive and difficult to turn off the hose end. Cheap hose + Cheap nozzle = difficulties.

But I'm lookin forward to using it.

I purchased one from Sears last summer and have had no issues with it at all. I think it was around $20, but it's a Craftsman and has a great warranty.

I got mine at Home Depot...I think its made by Goodyear of all people...Its nice nice hard rubber exterior that can take some abuse...and it feels solid. Although what I don't like is the fact that I have to keep turning it almost all the way to the left before I can get it where I like it, with out it being a jet stream of water.

I have the same one and have no issues with mine and its two years old...I don't find the twisting on and off to be any issue what so ever....however for 7 bucks its worth having a look for the hose in the backyard

This is exactly what I am talking about. The on/off switch hopefully will fix this problem. It raining here so I can't go play in the water :rain:

I stopped by WalMart this evening and there is an on/off switch that you can attach to the hose then attach the fire hose sprayer. All for about 2 bucks.
