The Old Grey Whistle Test
If you make a stew or oven-cook a turkey or any poultry or whatever...

Follow this advice: place a whole and unpeeled orange (washed) in the stew, or roast...

It's really works, the fat goes to inside the orange, just cut it open to confirm. The orange does not alter the taste of the food or the meat in the oven and remain it super light.

Test with a piece of sausage or chorizo, put water to boil, pierce the sausage or chorizo with a fork, place the orange into the pot and then the sausage and ....Check iafter 5 minutes... the fat is all inside the orange!

You can cooked sausage / chorizo and you check how delicious it is ...and at the end... the pot remain without fat...

Fascinating concept Togwt. All that fat gets transferred into the orange.

I'm going to duct tape a couple of oranges to my belly and leave them for 24 hrs.

I should be fit as a fiddle by tomorrow afternoon. I'll post 'before' and 'after' photos tomorrow.

That's very good idea, I will try it. Fat is main problem in these days as cholesterol become a major problem which causes cancer and many more disease.

Interesting! Wonder if the same would work with other citrus fruits, or if there's something about oranges in particular that allows them to absorb the fat?
