Conolly products

Very old-school.



Connolly was a producer of fine leather for over a hundred years. Their hides were used extensively by high-end furniture makers, clothing companies and top luxury and exotic car manufacturers.



They are now out of business but their care products are still available. I don’t know why that is but I would guess that whoever was making the stuff for them was able to buy the rights to the name and continue production as part of the bankruptcy process (or maybe they’d been separate companies for a long time, who knows?).



I haven’t used any of their stuff myself so I can’t share any wisdom on the subject.

I have tried the Conolly leather cream.

It is a white spirit based product and adds a very waxy feeling to the leather but seems to hydrate it well.

I prefer Zymol leather cleaner followed by Treat though!
