Confused what to use to wash my car with?!?!

I have always used a sponge from the local parts store but I am guessing that is a big no no. My car is black so what will be the most gentle? Brush? Mitt? anything else? Thanks

many people favor a 100% cotton chenille wash mitt. There certainly are a LOT of choices out in this type of mitt.

Right on! :up (Lordy, lordy! I guess I'll never escape being a child of the '60s.) And, by paying the $9.95 to download the entire book, you'll be helping to provide financial support to Autopia so the Mayor can continue making more nifty upgrades. :xyxthumbs And "Contributing Member" will appear in your profile. How's that for multiple benefits?

2001civicex- When the "what to wash with" question comes up, I always plug the Griot's Garage Boar's Hair Brush. Rinses clean, doesn't scratch MY cars (most anything CAN cause washing-related swirls for one reason or another). There's a thread or two out there somewhere where we REALLY beat this to death. The smaller brushes Griot's sells are GREAT for cleaning nooks and crannies, the boar's hair wheel brushes are also great.

BTW, your input on the "...get in shape" thread got lost during the site's technical problems. Yeah, you boxers know how to stay in shape (and how to take/deliver a hit!) :xyxthumbs
