Really looking for anyone that has used both products, to get opinion of which was preffered and for what reasons.Understand both expensive (not a problem) mainly looking for use on darker vehicles. Will be used on top
of fully detailed vehicles as last coat.Have read all the articles on both products just really looking for those that have tried both and their opinions. Not to say that anyone's opinion is not worth something(It is) but don't really want to buy both products and comparrison from other users is usually good tale of the tape.

Its pretty tough to beat Trade Secret. I havent tried concours red, but I'd rate Trade Secret as the #2 best wax ive seen behind Souveran. If concours red is one of the top-end zymol waxes, its not all their literature cracks it up to be. Go with the TS

The color of the vehicle affects my choice of carnauba toppers. If choosing between Victoria Red Concours Wax and Trade Secret, I would consider the following characteristics -

Dark and solid colors may benefit most from Victoria's Red Wax. It provides a very rich and smooth look. I don't personally like the way this wax behaves with lighter colors or metallics (mutes the flake). I also never really got the hang of the fingertip application (couldn't apply it thinly or evenly).

Medium colors (both solids and metallics) seem to do very well with Trade Secret. The look is very glossy, but doesn't mute any metallic flake. It's very easy to apply and remove and is moderately durable. It's one of my favorite carnauba toppers.

Are you planning to use this for your personal vehicles or in a commercial business? If it's for commercial use, you may want to consider adding a good wax for lighter colors too. You may also want to opt for a less expensive wax if you will be going through large quantities.

AWD thanks for your answer and opinion.yes going to use this on some customers hi-end vehicles, after many of years with mequairs just trying to add new life to the business. changed over to menzerna products and looking for best products to use as top coat.will give them a try, on my own vehicles and see what goes, dark blue hyundai sonata, black ford explorer, pearl white infiniti j30. will post pictures when done thanks again.

If you are looking for more cost effective paste waxes, may I suggest S100 and Natty's Wax. I like S100 on medium colors (a close second to Trade Secret in my book) and Poorboy's Natty's on light colors and metallics. Signature Wax is also good on metallics, though it's about as expensive as Trade Secret. My favorite wax for dark colors is Pinnacle Souveran, but that is even more expensive. You may also want to consider some liquid carnaubas like Pinnacle Liquid Souveran and Clearkote Carnauba Moose.

I really like all of Victoria Wax's stuff. You really can't go wrong with it, and if you get their looker kit you can get a lot of stuff for a reasonable price, including all of their waxes.
