Hi..Im a newbie and would like to hear some comments on the following products that I have ordered.

Porter Cable 7424 c/w 5" backing plate

6.5 Lake Country CCS Orange pad

6.5 Lake Country CCS Black Pad

6.5 Lake Country CCS Blue Pad

6.5 Lake Country CCS Green pad

Poorboy's Super Swirl Remover 1

Poorboy's Super Swirl Remover 2

Microfiber 6.5 inch Bonnets

Snappy Clean Pad Cleaner

Zaino Z-PC

I have an '07 Dark Blue RX8 that has some swirl marks on the top of the rear spoiler

and an '06 Red MX5 Miata that has some rub marks on the lower body from hitting cones at autocross.

All I have ever used on both cars is Zaino products.

Have I ordered anything I dont need?....is there anything Ive ordered that I cant use? or is there something else I will need?

Im really going into this blind.

You will definitely like the Porter Cable and the LC Pads, as I do. However, I have the Poorboy Products and think that they are at most "ok". With the PC, you will have better luck with some of the 3M products or even the Menzerna Products. The snappy clean pad cleaner works well too, however, have had equal results washing my pads with hair shampoo (removes wax build up without alot of foaming to remain in the pads)....yes, some may laugh, but it works.

As far as the Zaino, I cannot comment on that, since I have not used it at all. As far as the rub marks on the vehicle, Pinnacle Paint Work Cleansing Lotion works well with getting scuffs, etc. off of the vehicle.

The only other thing you may want to look into is some clay bar.

i would get a few white pads myself really i like to have at least 2 of each the pads will load up and you will have to clean them durning and after each panel one pad is not enough to do a whole car, i right now have at least 4 to 5 orange, white , 2 to 3 black, blue and red .Having not used the poorboys polish i can't say but i would look into one small bottle of a finer polish being i don't know what level #1 and 2 are.
