Collinite 476S....My first time using.

Since it's known for durability what better way to test it than on the water. I prepped the boat with a thorough wash followed with AIO and topped it with Collinite.......all by hand. It went on easy and came off easy. It also looks pretty reflective on fiberglass. I'm thinking that the fresh water of Lake Norman won't deteriorate the product too quickly. I'm looking forward to using it again on a car or truck in the near future.

Collinite is the boating forum favorite. Heard it can be a bit tricky in application and removal but you say otherwise. Where did you buy it from?

TW85 HHI, I bought it from Berryllium, Inc @ the bestwax.com. I purchased it for using on cars.......The 476S can be used on wood metal and fiberglass....Not tricky at all if the surface is prepped well.

I've always had a tough time removing...the last time I nearly resorted to a belt sander

Terry, are you letting the product cure for a while or buff off immd?

Thx.

Boat looks good. I am interested in hearing about durablity of 476S using the WOWO method. maybe you purchased the newer VOC compliant forumla

tom p.,

According to Collinite, 476s is suppose to last a year, maybe you are not suppose to buff. I know what you are saying, many pure paste waxes can be difficult to remove.
