Just bought a 2004 Black RX-8. It's been on the lolt for a while, so the first thing I did was to: wash, clay bar, wash, NXT application twice. Still had some cobb webs. 3 Weeks later Decided to try a good polish so : wash, clay bar, MG #81 Prof. hand polish, then MG #26 yellow wax.
There are no real "swirl marks", but definitely cobb webs when looked at closely. all the above products claim to get rid of minor surface defects, but have failed to do so. i am very much a novice with my first black car and am debating whether or not to by a dual action buffer. So the questions I have are these:
---Should I buy a buffer and if so, which one?
---How should I go about using a buffer for the first time?
---How do I learn to use a buffer without making my paint job worse?
---What products(polishes, waxes, glazes, pads, etc) should I use?
Hand work is killing me without the results I would like to see. Help!!!
