I was contacted by my long time client at Boardwalk Chevrolet and asked if I wanted to go with him to Vegas for 4 days to the corvette convention. All expenses were already paid for, all I had to do was just clean the car up a couple times and prep it for the show. Needless to say I accepted! Very generous offer :)

Well I been back from Vegas for a couple weeks now. Been swamped with 12hr+ days ever since too. Finally have a few minutes to post up some pics of the trip. It was SOO much fun! We even got to go to Club Eve which is new I guess. Taken straight to VIP with free drinks all night. Wish I had my camera that night at the club... the girls there, wow.

Poker tournament was cool (but didn't win). Food was amazing. Walked so much I didn't gain an ounce. Didn't take very many pics of the show, and barely even got to look at many of the cars. I was getting stopped by clients of mine from my area who also drove up, talking to me and introducing me to other owners. That was pretty cool as I booked 2 weeks of work in about 3 hours of the car show. Poker tournament was fun, but didn't win. And there was a type of scavenger hunt we did all over Vegas for about 4 hours in the car and it was a blast. Oh and I found out just a couple days ago that we took 1st place in the show! I thought there were more impressive vettes there, but 1st place is cool anytime!! Here are the pics I took.

This may not seem like a lot of stuff but these cars can hold a LOT of cargo. We used every inch of it!

Corvettes get great gas mileage on the freeway!!

This person cut us off THIS close. If you look closely near the passenger headrest you can actually see the car in front of them and realize they were inches away from both of us. Not very fun to be almost wrecked by an idiot driver on your way to vacation.

Awesome!

Between me and you, I'm not sure I'd shoot that .45

Nothing much can be said about early 20th century and firearm ergonomics.

Well the CHP would beg to differ on that subject....in fact she gave us a slip of paper that showed us going much faster lol. When she was out of sight, we decided to try out the launch control from a dead stop. 0-145 was pretty fun :2thumbs:
