ClearKote coming to Louisiana

I emailed ClearKote to see if they offered their products locally. Mr. Glass replied that they no longer have a distributor in New Orleans, but that they were going to be at the Corvette NCRS show in Gonzales, LA (about 50 miles outside of N.O.) on Feb 27 - Mar 2.



I mentioned that I learned of ClearKote products via ScottWax @ autopia.



Scott your commission check is going to be awesome next month.
 
I emailed them also to see if there was a local dist near me. After seeing Scottwax's reviews of the Quick Shine I really want to give it a try.

Ha Ha! I wish! I do have an entirely selfish reason for wanting Clearkote to do well though....so I can continue to use the products! The more people who know about Clearkote's products and how well they work, the more likely it is they will stay in business so I will always have a supply available!



I think Everett will be in the Dallas area (Arlington to be specific) around the middle of June, if he has the same schedule as last year. Too bad that was the weekend that OT.net had their national meet in Houston.
 
ClearKote's website doesn't tell much about their products.



I'd like to know where their products are manufactured, if they manufacture their own stuff, and some history of their development.

I talked to Mr. Glass when I first bought Quikshine to find out more about his products and he says he does the development and production is in house. He's based in the Houston area (forget the exact city).



Why not e-mail him and ask? I wouldn't expect him to give out any proprietary information though.

Tell me about it. :( It all sounds so good! I emailed Mr.Glass once about this and he said they didn't have anyone up here. A web search popped up this dealership in Edmonton but he didn't know anything about it and said the word "clearkote" isn't a trademarkable word or something to that effect.



He was interested in getting more distributors though, but I'm not that eager to try it! At least not yet anyway...
