Yesterday it was finally nice out in NJ and I washed my 08 Mustang convertible. I have the 18 inch painted fanblades, I noticed on two of my wheels that the clearcoat is peeling off. The Mustang is my daily driver. I do not use any type of wheel cleaner on my car,just use car wash soap. The only thing that I can think of would be the salt from the winter. The car is no longer under warranty,too many miles. Has anyone else had any issues with clearcoats peeling on their wheels?
