Clearcoat cracks?

I have a friend that owns a 08' Yukon Denali XL. He recently had a small front bumper disturbance in which the front bumper had dents that were pulled/popped out. This left him with, to me, looks like spider web cracks in the clear coat.

Is there anything that can be done (without re-coat) from a detailing point of view? :hmmm:

No not to my knowledge. It sounds like the clear has been permanently been damaged. See if anyone chimes in with a different opinion.

Not that I am aware of...on plastic bumper they paint that with release agent to keep that from happening...seems like you buddy hit something pretty hard...repaint is about the only thing that I can think of

nope .they are there for good ...my wife backed into a snow bank last month, surprise surprise :notme:, and the body shop next door said with heat they could pop the bumper back out but it will have those same cracks or lines within the paint/clear :(
