Clear Coat Peeling

Hello out there!
I have an 08 Super Duty that is out in the elements here in small town outside of Vegas. The clear coat has begun to peel pretty rapidly. Is there any way to stop this? It is in the top and the hood. Top being worse. I thought that eventually I would just put a wrap on both that would cover the peel. Any thoughts...thanks in advance!
 
I see that everyday in AZ. Sand and paint is the cure. A wrap in that environment will be put to the test as the years go by.
