Cleaning my MF

I am looking for the best product to clean my MF towels. I have been throwing them in the wash with regular detergent, but is there a better way? better products? I am about to spend som $ on some good mf towels, and I want to make sure I do not ruin them.



Please let me know what is best.

I bougth 10 MF towels. Still haven't washed them with any soap or detergent. The only thing I've read about the care of MF is not to use fabric softeners. So ay suggestion will be appreciated. I think Green liquids or degreasers would be too strong for them.

There are some detergents designed for cleaning/restoring MF's. I use Micro-Restore but I'm sure any of the others will do fine also:

Here's a nice article on Microfiber care. There are a few products specifically made for Microfiber Washing. Sonus Der Wunder Wasche is available at the Autopia-Car Care store and works well for me. PakShak also has a similar product, Micropak it's called. Look for it on the PakShak site. Pinnacle also has a microfiber cleaning product.



Basic care is simply to use warm water on the wash and cold on the rinse. A second rinse is recommended, and use vinegar on the second rinse for extra absorbancy and softness. Hang Dry, or "air fluff" setting on machine.

I just washed my MF's after today's detail. They never went in so dirty and they never came out so clean.

i've been using liquid tide to wash and then dry on low with no fabric softener, and haven't had any problems.
