I used a small amount of Megs PlastX on a mf pad to clean the front and rear lights (which are both made of plastic), of my car today and I must say that it made a noticeable difference.
The lights were not oxidised or yellowed as the car is only a year old.
After using the PlastX I read on here that it shouldn't be used on coated plastics due to it abrading the layer of coating, (it also states that it can't be used on coated plastics on the back of the bottle but I didn't realise that the lights were coated prior to using it ).
My question is what else can I use to clean the lights effectively prior to applying some fresh LSP.
My initial thoughts were claying and a non-abrasive AIO (such as Carlack68 NSC).
I also thought of using Carlack68 LLS as an LSP on the lights but the back of the bottle states that it should not be used on any plastics. This leads me to wonder if the Carlack 68 NSC would actually be a wise option or not.
Any other thoughts?
