Cleaning floormats with Meguiars APC what is the process?

I recently picked up some meguiars APC, green stuff not the orange apc+, and was wanting to us it on my floormats. I have an ashphalt blacktop driveway so you can imagine all kinds of crap gets tracked on them from it alone. Even those these are older floormats that I use just for everyday I'd still like to get them looking the best that I can.

How do you use the meguiars apc when cleaning mats? Do you spray the dirty areas with a dilluted solution, scrub, rinse, and vac? Or are you all using the apc with a carpet cleaner? I figured that I'd ask here and get ideas on how to use it since I'd like to get the dirty areas cleaning without speading it to the rest of the mat. What proicess seems to work best for you all?

Well, extractor or not, it's still going to be spray, scrub, rinse, and vac (maybe with an extra vac thrown in there between the scrub and rinse if you have an extractor.

Some people advocate blowing the dust out with compressed air before wetting...you definitely want to do a thorough vacuum first if not. Some people advocate pressure washing. What equipment do you have?

After 11000 or 12000 vehicles, I don't want to keep count anymore, means I'm old. The best way, if permitted in your city, is to flush them with water.

Wet the mats, spray APC or spot clean heavy stains or oil based stains (solvent cleaner) first and scrub with brush. Hang on clips and spray with garden hose or PW until water runs clean.

If extremely dirty mat, usually driver side, spray APC and rinse a little and then spray APC and rinse again.

If left hanging they usually dry really fast, soak up dripping bottom corner with a towel.

is it safe to throw them in a washing machine? The front loading kind.

I don't think I'd want to try it

Will hanging them completely wet cause the carpet fabric to become less tightly weaved?

Not sure what you mean, but it might lay the fabric down, but you can brush it back if it happens.
