cleaning cloths - static

Hi all

I have a problem with my cleaning cloths. I purchased some 100% cloths from my local carshop a while back. After washing them, when I use them they seem to leave lots of tiny fibres on the car which seem to cling to the paintwork through static.

How do I solve this ?

I have been experimenting with this issue. I have found that when I dry my towels in the dryer, while it might help remove the lint it charges the towels really bad with static. Now I take them directly from the washer and let them air dry.

Have you tried using the swiffer towels? They are staticy too but it is to your benefit. They pick up the lint and dust from your dash without having to spray anything. They are really nice.

They are a good size, as you can tell. One towel has lasted me for a couple months. I have a black dash and I hate dust. These suckers really keep on top of it for me. I'll do a dash treatment once about every month and a half or so but for regular maintance I just keep these handy.
