Cleaning chrome tuner lug nuts..

I have a set of used Gorilla tuner lug nuts. They have some abuse to them and a little dirty I'd like to have cleaned. Is there any liquid I can use to let it soak in or something similar to clean it? They are chrome btw.
 
Nothing cleans like brake cleaner. Spray on, wipe off.



The paint sealant we have at work is pretty good on chrome.. I put it on bumpers and stuff, cleans and shines them up a bit.
 
Well unfortunately don't have any brake cleaner lying around in the garage. I do have some other spray on cleaners.. How about something like Meguiars wheel brightner or too strong?
