I don't even know what that stuff is... some REALLY old eagle1 leather conditioner and some leather cleaner/conditioner I have never seen or heard of.

I'm particularily interested in what the hell is the blue mercedes "gloss preserver"

There was a thread on the TFP stuff a little while ago. At least one person thought it was nice stuff. I think there was some difficulty finding it.

Don't know about the MB stuff, though.

I had a bottle of the Eagle One stuff up until last year when I cleaned the garage. :)

Not sure what the other stuff is though. Shake it up and try it! :D

The TFP stuff is the poly-razamataz stuff dealerships used back in the day. The VW dealer applied it to the '87 Quantum wagon I bought (before I had a say in the matter). Not awful, not special, just so-so stuff.

I dunno what the Benz stuff is, but I'll buy it off you if you want to sell it. The container looks similar to those used by 1Z but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Funny you say that. 1Z actually makes a couple of products for DC in germany, and believe they are even working on a new polish for the ceramiclears as well.

gbackus- Yeah, my general curiosity about it's source is a big part of why I wouldn't mind buying it.

US automaker branded stuff is often decent stuff from AutoInt/ValueGuard. Wouldn't surprise me at all to find that at least the *pre*-DC-era MB products were 1Z.

Note that there was a rumour that BMW-brand wash was P21S and you can bet the BMW Gummi-pfledge stuff isn't made by BMW (it's not Wurth's stuff but it's *somebody's*). All this stuff is made for them by somebody, might be good for all we know.
