Clean Pads Between Every Use?

I was removing some defects on my Dad's truck tonight using SSR 2.5 on an orange medium cutting pad and I want to finish the job tomorrow. Do I have to wash the pad, or can I just start using it straight away tomorrow? Thanks.

My rule of thumb has always been if there's time to let the pad properly dry before needing it again, clean it. Eliminates any problems before they happen. I always use same products with same pads too.

I always use a clean pads before they are used again. You never know what all that dried product will do when ground into you paint. Better safe than sorry.

man, there is no way in hell i would reuse a pad without cleaning it. maybe its just me, but thats like using towels that are dirty to dry your car.

Couldn't agree with you more

Tey are so easy to clean to. When I am done with them I keep them in the bucket with some water and soap untill I am done with the job and as soon as I am done I spray them down with a hose and squieeze. (rinse and repeat as needed). Then I puit them back on the PC/MAK and spin dry them and they are back to work in no time. Just my $0.02

Thanks for the replies guys. I was just curious as to what you guys normally did. I've never used foam pads before and wasn't sure how they reacted. I'm not too concerned with the Jeep as I'm removing scratches before my dad gets rid of it. Thanks
