Recently I clayed my car with Mothers Yellow Detailing Clay, but after multiple passes and lots of pressure the car still failed the plastic bag test. While it had significantly improved, I could still feel the contamination. Now some people say clay 'pulls' particles out of the paint, but I have also been told that it just 'grinds' off the pieces of contamination sticking above the surface. I want to decontaminate my paint further, and read about chemical cleaners, but haven't found very much information about them. So my question is:
What will actually remove contamination particles from below the surface of my paint?
I've thought about getting Megs Aggressive Detailing Clay but if it's not going to solve my problem I don't want to wast my money. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, I just could never be 100% satisfied knowing that while my car looked good, there were hidden particles waiting to be felt. Hmm.. the things autopia does to you right??
