Clay Magic now available at Walmart.

Just got back from there and got myself some Meguiars applicator pads and a clay bar kit. It comes with a 12 fl oz. clay lube bottle w/ spray and 100 mg clay bar all for $9.47 plus tax. I doubt ill use the spray though, since ive always used the soap that I wash the car with. Enjoy. :xyxthumbs

Yep, it works excellent too. I purchased some about 3 weeks ago for some body shop overspray and it came off very easy. Contrary to some reviews, I actually prefer Clay Magic to Mothers Clay bar. Clay magic worked a lot better for me. :up :up
 
I've only found one in Oklahoma City that has it in stock and they only had a few. You might just have to keep on trying other stores. I just stopped looking and called all of them in the phone book until I found one that said they had it. Good luck!
 
Perfect... i need some new clay. Any other local stores that might have some? If not i guess Kansas isn't too far of a drive....
 
I went to 2 Walmarts and only one had the Mothers Clay Kit. It was not on sale for $3.99 as originally posted but was still $12.00.





I will definitely be looking for the Clay Magic kits now...
 
Whoa, looks like quite a few posts got deleted. In my last post I said I called and the automotive guy said they didnt have any. When I got mine, I saw at least 5-6 kits left. What im trying to say is dont listen to the person on the phone.

Well, you gotta love walmart. I called again all over the city today and had no luck, even with the one in gladstone. Then I called the gladstone one again and had 3 different people looking, and surprise...they had it "I've never seen this stuff before...". The guy who found it said if they had it any super center will have it. So I called one closer to my area and had them check again with no luck. So it looks like I'm taking a trip out to Gladstone :)

I used to work at Kmart on Barry Road and ive gotta say, no one actually knows anything about their station. Theyre just register people.
 
i picked mine up 2 weeks ago at walmart for 9.47, and the mothers kit was 12 bucks but most look like they were opened. I like clay magic, but as with any clay, use a teaspoon of car wash and distilled water as a lube instead of spending all your $$$ on qd since its overpriced.
 
son of a biscuit, I can't find claymagic anywhere...Kragen, Autozone, Pep Boys, Winchester Auto, Walmart. $15 for the mother's kit is so-so, but I think it's going to get expensive when a bunch of customers want claying.

Anyone know where to find it in the bay area? I'm going to try a walmart by work and a pep boys one last time.

That is just too weird! Even here in the Back-End Of Beyond, I see it at Autozone and other "big box" auto supply stores.

I seem to recall that you can buy Mothers clay bars direct from their website, not in the whole kit-with-lube package. Have you tried PMing Forrest? Even my local O'Reillys was willing to special-order the bars for me. Talk to them.
