Do you still have to clay before useing an abrassive polish or will the abrasiveness of the polish take out all the contaments out thanks also can i apply Klasse AIO with a CMA White Polishing Pad

I always clay before polishing to remove whatever dirt I missed during the wash. This prevents the microscopic contaminants from being polished into the paint and creating more swirls/scratches.

hmm ic where can i get some Clay i didnt order any clay from CMA when i orderd all my seasons supplys where can i pick up some clay for cheap localy thanks

Fr0zen- Another good reason to clay before polishing is so the contaminants aren't smoothed by the polish (which would make it tougher for the clay to "grab" them). I'd order the Block and Glide clay package from the Autopia store. My initial impression is that it's better than my previous clay (Griot's). If you wanna go local, try to find the Mother's clay kit or Clay Magic. Check auto stores.

And yes, the white pad works well with AIO.

ok thanks im planning on doing a big truck this weekend

1.Start With Dawn Wash

2.Menzerna Intensive Polish

3.Menzerna Finial Polish

4.Klasse AIO

5.S100

Gonna use a rotary to completly remove all the swirls make the paint like new but i can feel its not very smooth it might just be the dust because it hasnt been washed yet

Any Auto Paint supply store will carry clay as well as Pep Boy's. I saw either Mothers or Megs clay kit there.

Ok i will go to pep boys tommarow see if they got the mothers clay bar kit how much do you think it can be

The Mother's kit will be about $20 and the ClayMagic kit will be about $10. Supposedly, the Mother's kits are on clearance for $3 at WalMart... haven't had a chance to look in the Walmarts around here lately to see if that's true.
