Clay bar

today I decided to finally start to detail my car, and while clay baring my dad walked out and handed me some sculpting clay.I had already done most of the car with my autopia clay, but finished it with the sculpting clay. It seemed to do great, I went back over all the areas with my regular clay and it brought nothing up, and I cleaned it afterwards and it seemed to have done just fine. I havent put any polish over it yet though, its starting to rain

You might want to PM DavidB, Forrest, and Mike Phillips and ask if they have any comments on this thread, since they all sell clays and are upright guys. I'm personally :shocked at the notion of using sculpting clay on a car, but I don't know enough about the composition to know why. I'd like to hear what they have to say about this.
