Classes on using a highspeed buffer?

PrepExcellence school at www.autoint.com is maybe a good hands on class. I haven't attended it, but it "sounds" good in *my* opinion.

I had a few lessons with NY Detailer. Gave me a good base to work off of. Reading the Sticky article started by theveed. Reading Machine Buffing by David B. then actually getting a few cars to work on.

I am still working on perfecting my rotary skills. One slip or lapse of concentration invites disaster with the high-speed buffer.

I did attent the PrepExcellence school, and I highly reccomend it

I have two additional thoughts...

High speed? I almost always run on the slowest speed, and allow the product to do the work.

Get a damaged hood or trunk from a local body shop. introduce a variety of scratches, and then see if you can remove them... try to burn a section. See how long it takes...

Buy an infared thermometer at radio shack, and never let the surface temp get above 115 degrees.

OK, that's 3...

Good Luck!
