anyone prefer one over the other (slickness, lubricity, suds, etc..), and why?

citrus wash n gloss, contrary to some it doesn't remove your LSP, the citrus is more of a smell and colour I think.

I have both, citrus is more lubed and slicker too, wins it for me, means I get a safer wash.

Used the CWG today and loved it. Was extremely sick and also smells good too. Foamed up nicely as well. I have yet to try the maxi suds though.

CW&G at a high enough dilution (2 ounces to 1 gallon I think) will remove your LSP. At the maintenance wash dilution (1/2 ounce per gallon I think) will not remove your LSP per Chemical Guys. I won't lie, I am a little skeptical about it not removing LSP though.

Of course, if you think about it, anytime you wash your paint, I would guess you are always removing a tiny amout of LSP each time just due to the friction of the wash media rubbing against the LSP.

Ive used both and I think that the CWG at higher rations will not remove a LSP but it will decrease it. Maxi Suds is a very nice product that I do not think anyone would be disappointed in.

I believe the maintenance dilution for CWG is 1/2 ounce per 2 gallons... I could be wrong.

You may be correct, I just don't recall at the moment and I don't have my gallon in front of me.

i used the CWG and wasn't too overly impressed with it, so i'll have to give the MSII a shot. thanks for the feedback everyone... :)
