Chrome wheels opinion...

hello to all, and a belated happy thanksgiving lol...

i just purchased a set of 19" chrome wheels

for my car...

i haven't installed the tires yet.

but i feel that i should clean, polish,or wax them,

before the tires go on.

what do you guys recommend?

Clean them after; the guy putting your tires on is not going to care/think about keeping them grease/spot free. Let who ever do there thing then go and do your after. Why do it twice. .02

OK, good point, so when i get them back from install and balancing

should i polish them, or use some of my klasse products, you know cleaner then the glase....or just hit them with some collonite 845 wax to protect the finish...

remember, there brand spanking new...

i want to set up a maintenance routine to prevent damage from the elements...

There is also the possible issue of the weights not sticking to the sealed surfaces. Just clean the wheels beforehand, I always hope that people working on my stuff will be more careful with it if it looks to them like you are very careful with it.

the wheels are brand spanking new, but i understand where your coming from....

the place i deal with, is top notch....

i have been doing business with them for a long time...

but i am going to take your advice on cleaning the inner side of the wheel, i'm going to clean them with some alcohol, to make sure that the weights stick to the metal....

thanks
