Maybe they've been lurking & have seen the light??

Nice job on black, Greg!! You're liking the Pink Wax?

I have a Bravada that I have spent a lot of time on. It is Pewter. Not once have in all of my time has it shined as Well as that Black TrailBlazer.

Keep up the good work! I, in turn, will go to the dictionary and look up the word emulate. Probably has a picture of GregCavi detailing a vehicle.

norah - I am not liking the pink wax, I am loving it!! awesome wax and dirty cheap. 15 oz and I think its 15 bucks.. that a buck an once!

cwcad - Thanks for the kind comments!!

Lookin good Greg! I got a question bout the SSR1 you used on the PC- how long did you work it in for, and did it dust or gum up? Thanks, thinkin bout gettin some for the PC, any suggestions or comments appreciated.

Andrew

AZ I probably worked the ssr1 for about 30 seconds per panel. I had to clean up a little halo's from an agressive pad combo in spots. It did the trick. It didnt take long at all to remove the halograms. They were pretty minor though. I usually dont use ssr1 as my last polish I usually go:

menzerna fpII via finishing pad @ 1500 rpm. That leaves a halo free super clean surface but time wastn on my side today so I went with the ssr1. As far as gumming up.. it didnt during the end but i was just using to much polish.

UPDATE:

I washed the blazer today which would make it its second wash since I detailed it last october. The #2180 I applied was not fully beading but definatly sheeting. The finish was still nice and slick and dried very nicely. The vehicle is garaged but is rarely washed so that gives you any idea of what #2180 can do, just shy of 6 months.

Geez greg, way to make a car look awesome. Is it me or is it always overcast in your neck of the woods.

Did you apply the pink wax right after the 2180? Assuming you did, because you mentioned it was the second wash, maybe the 2180 didn't bond because of the oils on top of it from the pink wax.

How does it feel detail a car and not those crazy limos.

Looks beautiful,I think this is you 1st detail of the year where you have no snow in the backround :)

Great job on the black paint.

One small, meaningless suggestion though. Westley's Bleche-White on the RWLs, or whatever other (better) cleaner that may do that. Other than that, looks sick.

Overcast alot? only when i want to take pics!

THe pink wax was applied right after the #2180. This detail was done 6 months ago, today i just washed and applied souveran so the pink was obvsouly dead. I have been doing alot of washes lately and yes it beats the limos which I will no longer be doing because of poor business ethics of the limo company.

Thanks! It was odd, I can never get the front right tires white letters to come white, even with Westleys. I ran into that today too. Odd?
