Chenille Mitts vs. Sheepskin - Sheepskin Wins

I've been using Chenille Mitts for the past 7 months now.....as I had run out of Sheepskin Mitts and the only thing locally available at that time were a set of Chenille Mitts. The chenille get's grugy after use and the fabric does snag on door corners, etc.

Just got some spring detailing supplies in and I gotta say, sheepskins are the way to go. Too bad they're $16 each. I think I 'm going to buy them in Bulk at $60 for 6. If anyone has any good sources, anyone intereted in a *group buy *.

$16 each! Yeeouch!

Where are you buying yours? I can find them for $6 at O'Reilly's, Target, Wal-Mart, etc. here in Omaha. Where are you located?

There is or was a recent thread regarding a sheepskin mitt at Big Lots. Price, a very affordable $3.99. I picked up 3 to test a sheepskin product again.

any "linting" concerns with these when washed with other MF towels?

Good question. I did not think about it when I washed about 20 MF's and WW's with this mitt Monday night. ZERO cross-linting of other MF/WW's. :bounce

The only problem I had with this mitt is the size of my hands. So I used it as a wash rag. Double plush!!! :xyxthumbs

The ones from Costo are alright. Can't complain for 4 at $8.50. One side has the bug scrub mesh on it though, so the only side I'm really effectively using is one side of the mitt. Hopefully Costo's will be carrying the non bug scrub version. Then , I'll really stock up !

You're saying the mitt is kinda small?

Glad to hear there is no linting. I prefer a chenille style mitt but they're just not compatible with all the MF towels in the wash machine.

I'll try one of these - - thanks for the rec !
