I purchased a gallon of Pro-Detailer from Chemical Guys back in October. It was dleivered with a few other products, all sealed in individual plastic bags. The bottle was damaged during shipping and the plastic bag contained the mess. Approximately 25% of the product was lost. I transfered the Pro-Detailer into a new empty gallon jug from US Plastics. After two contact attempts to Chemical Guys, I got no response. Oh well....:hm
I have to highly recommend this product. It serves many duties and well. I have gone through 2 additional gallons since the original purchase. The cleaning ability, the lubricity, the gloss, are all there.
I use it many ways. First, in the cold winter, I use right it after an ONR wash. I spray it on the panels, wheels, wells, and exterior glass to add a little extra shine and protection. My black Limited, which I have not touched since purchasing in September, is beading.
I use it as a clay lube on customer cars diluted 4:1 with water. Nice and slick.
I use it as a mild no-water wash between ONR washes on my personal cars.
Finish Kare #425 does leave a slicker finish on paint as a quick detailer and is a miracle on interior glass, but is far less versatile in my opinion. I couldn't imagine using it as a no-water wash.
Zaino Z-8 is by far the best finisher I have used on dark cars. Slick, deep, glossy, all you could want. But its not as versatile, and cost prohibitive, but cant be beat on a properly prepped dark car.
As far as an all around quality product, Pro-Detailer gets my vote. I have implemented it into my detailing process along with 425 and Z-8.
