Check out the prices of these Zymol waxes!

Very odd application.I'd scratch the paint with my nasty hands.

600 refills and your paying a little over twenty a pop. YEAH!

The zymol wax I had a play with ( Concours ) is a VERY nice wax, the hand application isnt as bad as you'd think ( actually quite theraputic! ), but it can be a bit of a bear to remove, you have to apply a fair bit more pressure than I was comfortable with. Add to that it requires multiple buffings and it can be both fiddly and time consuming......

From what I have been told, it is not the most durable wax getting around, somewhere on the week or so mark depending on whether it is garaged or not etc - this is second hand and not from experience. The fact that the warmth of your body softens its so dramatically for application means I dont doubt this source of info. IMO it is a pretty fragile wax.

It is best suited to those in concourse events who dont care about durability or wasting a bucket of cash IMO. In most respects I think my S100 is on par with it, and having just recieved my Souveran, I am mighty excited! :xyxthumbs

had a client who has the vintage wax his wife one day when i went round to detail his cars dropped the solid perspex lid bits went everywhere rather her than me lol.the finish is good but only able to apply the product during the summer months is not good for a mobile detailer.now use mothers which i can use all year round

but I do know that Zymol is close to introducing a new "just for Porsche wax". Can't imagine what price they will be asking for a few precious ounces of the New Porsche 911 Estate Glaze.

You mean 60 refills @ 20.00=$1200.00 :D

Believe they also limit you to two refills a year.

~One man’s opinion / observations ~

Paints from different (Dupont, PPG, etc) manufacturers do not favour one wax over another; there is no factual basis for a special wax or sealant formulated for a specific vehicle model, nor custom coloured waxes with pigment dyes to mach original paint.

As for the price of Zymol ‘custom’ waxes at $1,000+ if you pay $1M + for a vehicle does it really matter how much you pay for a wax? Zymol’s market is a concourse entrant so the price of their waxes is not that important to their customers.

~Hope this helps~
