where are the cheapest places to buy waffle weave drying microfiber towels or wash mitts either online or at a store? anyone know a good place.

AutoGeek's Guzzler cannot be beat!!! I think they are on sale right now.

Heard good things from the Pak Shak too.

My wife just got me the WW two pack from Walmart for $3 or whatever it was. Haven't had an opportunity to try them yet, but they feel soft.

They must have different towels at different Walmarts. The ones I found there I was afraid my finger would poke through them they were so thin.

Patrick needs to be in the mix also for great towels and pricing.

Autogeeks Guzzler may not be cheap but they sure are worth it. So aren't the Poorboy's Blue WW... these 2 are great. REmember, you get what you pay for.

Correct, the Excel Monterey is also one of the best WW's I have used. I have recently updated all of my good WW's to the Monterey and the Sonus MF-200 that is on sale. They are both the same size with the same great super soft and absorbent material with a silk/satin binding. The only difference I can spot is the color; the Sonus is yellow with a red border and is currently on close-out at a great price (3 for $24).

I have found some other WW's that are as nice as the two mentioned above, but the price is higher for the same towel. I haven't bought any Excel MF's (except for the WW's) for a while, but they have always been top quality at a very good price too.

I picked up a couple of the Wal-Mart WW's a while back and they aren't too bad, but I prefer a larger towel when drying and they aren't quite as nice the Excel and Sonus towels.

Most of the on-line vendors you hear mentioned around here like Autopia (Sonus), Exceldetail, Danase, DFTowel, Poorboy's, and PakShak, (just to name a few.... sorry if I left someone out) sell very nice MF products and offer great customer service. It kind of boils down to what specific qualities you're looking for in a MF/WW.

I like the Poorboy's WW, it is a nice towel, but find that I prefer these super soft and absorbent WW's the best.

I also just ordered a large Cobra Guzzler because of reviews it has received on here so I'm curious to see how well it stands up to the Monterey and Sonus WW's in the qualities that I like best in a drying towel.

Edit:
I just received the Cobra Guzzler today and am happy to report that is too is very soft and absorbent, it is a very nice towel. They are a bit expensive so my nod still goes to the Monterey and the Sonus WW (currently on sale) as the best value since they seem to be made from the same ultra soft WW material and all have a nice satin binding.

Were they wrapped in plastic and in the kitchen cleaning aisle? That's where I first looked at Walmart and saw some that were in a plastic bag and looked like bandanges. :doh

Yeah, the ones I just got were a two pack of white towels. They just had a cardboard piece one end to hang by, no plastic packaging.
