hi all..can I still use 1500 grit sandpaper to sand down the touch up paint...not sure if i want to do this on the plastic bumpers?...thanks

The fact that the substrate is plastic has little to do with the paint chip repair process. Use the same process illustrated by DavidB on a current thread.

I am trying to find the best deal to fly my girlfriend and I to Detroit from Oklahoma City on 29 April 2010 to 2 May 2010. We are going to watch my youngest sister graduate nursing school and pin on her RN. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks,

Hello,

There are a number of travel search engines on-line--you may know of some. However, if you haven't heard of any---they are free to use.. I've used 3 in particular, but one is kayak.com---just enter that and it will search various travel sites for you and you can choose which one you'd prefer.. Simple and a great way to check prices on various travel sites,---saves you time and work.. softoa..

we fly our daughter around a lot and i usually check orbitz and expedia. then the airline that gives me the best price on those search engines, i go directly to their site and see if i can find a better price there. i should also mention flights are cheaper on monday and tuesday for some reason....

I was actually just looking last night for airfare from Detroit to visit my sister in New York City. I used expedia.com and priceline.com as well as individual airline websites. The best price that I was able to find was for Spirit Airlines through priceline.com. My only complaint was that the ticket prices conveniently went up $30 a ticket between the time that I accepted the price and the time that I entered my credit card information in. I realize that prices can change, but that just seemed a little too suspicious. It was almost like a sort of 'we have him now, so let's just make a little more money' type of deal.

Good luck finding your airfare!

Morning,

If you try kayak.com---that will search all of those sites like expedia and orbitz, travelocity, etc---so you won't need to go to expedia to check and so forth.. Kayak is like a Brand Name and under this Brand name are hundreds of your travel sites. Just check it out, and you'll see.. Then, like the above---you can go directly to which one you want---and kayak gives you for example the prices of United on expedia, United on orbitz,---very easy--you'll be amazed... No cost involved either.. It scrolls thru hundreds of sites for you.. I used to do it individually also by choosing particular names, but learned about travel search engines.

Yes, charges have risen that quickly for myself also over the years. Pretty amazing--allright..

Thank you everyone for the help. I found that hotwire.com ended up giving me the best deal and also flying out of Dallas instead of OKC was 250 dollars cheaper. So I am booking the tickets now.

Finding cheap airfare, is one way that can help. I don't mind compromising on airlines, as it's really not a big part of my vacations. It's usually a day at the beginning, and a day at the end. Sometimes the journey is the destination, but not always.
