First Mopar of the year. How did it take so long? haha
Vehicle arrived before sunrise so I got everything ready and started about 7am.
wheels:
pb spray and rinse
super slick n suds
wheel woolies misc sizes
megs apc/tuff shine brush
gyeon wet coat (last bottle)
p808, bold n bright
wash/decon:
bdx, sss, 2bm, micros
somewhat dried with big blue towel
clayed with mckees new N rw @lube dilution and nanoskin fine
blown dry with blaster
glass: pa diver
pb glass on inside windows
trim: cf radiance (reload type product)
probably forgot something in there
car was pretty bad and had deep scratches and marks in the clear
owner had opted for the only coating i will offer on just a one step (unless paint was able to be in 90s% from it) - pblv2 (which i will ne changing to mckees next bottle for cost purposes)
the cut:
duetto, hydroshred cyan pad with cf p1, speed 5
also used mini with rupes green pad and nano with equivalent other branded pad
didn`t come out perfect but much improved. i think the hood and trunk needed to be wet sanded
video below...pardon the radio on in the background but if you listen to the words of the song during the vid it`s kind of ironic

since the roof was matte and the hood/trunk were just horrible, the hood and trunk lid got a two step of cf p1 on rupes blue pads + essence on rupes yellow pad
at that point I was kind of in the zone and feeling a little generous so i ended up doing the doors and pillars with essence as well. just a quick once over like it was a glaze working into the paint
it definitely stepped up the gloss
vehicle was wiped down with opt paint prep
coated with pblv2
i then realized it was 545 and the sun was already setting so i barely got any decent shots and didn`t have the tires/trim dressed at that point.
client wasn`t coming to pick up until after 7 so i did that later
a few sunsetting shots
and one garage shot as he picked it up (after dressing tires)
kind of hard to get a merlin with that hood
thanks for viewing
